2009 TEE TIME RESERVATION POLICIES & PROCEDURES

April 15^th – October 15^th

 

Life Members and Master Members

Tee time may be made 8 days in advance (limited to 1 foursome per Lifetime or Master Member). Lifetime or Master Member must play in the scheduled tee time.   

 

Individual and Couples Members

Weekdays- Starting Times for Tuesday thru Friday can be called in or        signed up in person, 7 days in advance starting at 7:00am.

 

Saturday- Starting Times can be called in or made in person on Thursday morning of the same week starting at 7:00am.  

 

Sunday- Starting Times can be called in or made in person on Friday morning of the same week starting at 7:00am.  

 

Holidays- Starting Times can be called in or made in person 2 days in advance starting at 7:00am. (Holidays include: Memorial Day, July 4^th, Labor Day)

 

* A member is limited to sign up for one tee time per call and is required to give the names of all players in the group. If 4 names are not given the time will be filled with requests of individuals etc.   

 

Junior Members

Children of Members between the ages of 14 and 21, with an established handicap or permission from the Golf Professional or General Manager, may make tee times 2 days in advance. They are restricted from play on Weekends and Holidays before 12:00. If the junior is accompanied by a parent, then they may play after 10:00 on Weekends and Holidays.

 

Walk-up List

On Weekends and Holidays the starter will have a Walk-up list to accommodate members who do not have a tee time. The starter will register them in order and place them in tee times when space is available. We highly recommend members to show up even if you do not have tee time. Every effort will be made to get you on the course.

 

Making a tee time: To register members and guests in a professional manner and create the atmosphere you deserve it is imperative to have the names in advance. When reserving a tee time please give all the Player Names, including Guest Names, to the pro shop staff. If four names are not given, the staff will fill the foursome when calls come in.  During peak times, it is necessary to play in foursomes.

 

Tee time cancellations: Tan Tara Management would appreciate at least 24 hour notice on tee time cancellations. If this is not possible you still must contact the Pro Shop the day of.  

 

Recommendation: Be at the First Tee 10 minutes before your tee time

 

Starting Times are a Privilege of Membership: Disciplinary action will be taken against Members who abuse the starting time privilege.

 

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

 

First Offense: Verbal warning from the Pro

Second Offense: Letter from the Pro and Suspension of Tee Time Privileges for 1 week

Third Offense: Letter from the General Manager and Suspension of Tee Time Privileges for 4 weeks.

 

 

Examples of Tee Time Privilege Abuse

 

·        Members not giving names of all members and guests in advance when reserving tee time

 

·        Members not canceling tee times in advance

 

·        Members not showing up for scheduled tee times

 

·        Lifetime or Master Members not playing in tee times scheduled in advance in their name

 

·        Members showing up late for tee times

 

·        Using the name of a Member without his/her permission

 

·        Starting play on the Course without registering in the Pro Shop
